Mr,Pinckney,MD & CEO, Amway India speaks


Amway India Enterprises pvt ltd, India's leading direct selling FMCG Company has lauched "Brand assessment Centre" in Kolkata. Mr.William S Pinchney, MD & CEO, Amway India Enterprises Pvt Ltd had attended “The Brand Assessment Centre” by Amay for the first time in Kolkata & Eastern Region. The state-of –the –art Brand Assessment Centre is a unique one of its kind in the entire eastern region of the country. “ The Brand Assessment Centre is a logical step to establish Amway India as a specialized health, wellness and beauty company and strengthen the nutrition, wellness and beauty categories in line with our global philosophy. It would add fillip to the fastest growing categories of nutrition & wellness.” Said Mr. Pinckney while speaking to media. The Beauty Care section will be equipped with a skin assessment centre that would assess one’s skin type. A trained beauty care expect will provide personalized solution on skin care and recommend products from Amway based on the need of the consumer.Mr. Pinckney also told “The rapid urbanization and modern day stressful business and office life attributed to the growth of 1 billion dollar wellness industry in India. Preventive healthcare will assume importance in coming years as the desire to lead healthier and happier and longer lives among consumers will rule the roost. Amway’s Nutrilite and Artistry will provide the required wellness solutions to our ABOs as well as end users.”Elaborating on the strategy, he added, “We plan to roll out these brand assessment centres across the country, and are confident that such strategic moves will take us across the Rs 2500 crore mark by 2012.”“Amway India has recorded a turn over of Rs 1128 crores in 2008, registering a robust growth of 40% over previous fiscal year 2007.” He also added.
