Peerless Smart Cricket Championship 2008-09' Hosts its ninth Match

Team Jaguar emerges winner in the ninth match of the Peerless Smart Cricket Championship

• The ninth 20-20 match of the series is played between Teams Jaguar and Team Lion at the Calcutta Cricket Coaching Centre ground.

• Subhabrata Ray of Team Jaguar declared Man of the Match.

Kolkata, December 13, 2008: The Peerless General Finance & Investment Company Ltd. hosted the ninth match of the "Peerless Smart Cricket Championship- 2008-09" in continuation of its legacy to nurture the spirit of sportsmanship. The match was played between the Team Jaguar and Team Lion at Calcutta Cricket Coaching Centre ground.

Team Jaguar is mentored by Mr. Premankur Bhattacharya and captained by Mr. Navin Damani and Team Lion is mentored by Mr. Jayanta Roy and captained by Mr. Indranil Bhattacharya.

Team Jaguar emerges winner in the ninth match of the series defeating Team Lion by 8 wickets in a spectacular 20-20 cricket match held at C4 ground today.

Subhabrata Ray of Team Jaguar was awarded Man of the Match for his all round performance. Subhabrata Ray of Team Jaguar turns out to be the Highest Scorer of the match, while Dipak Shaw of Team Lion came up as the Highest Wicket Taker.

The two teams had faced each other twice previously in the third and sixth match of 'Peerless Smart Cricket Championship 2008-09'. In the third Match, Team Lion had emerged winner defeating Team Jaguar, and in the sixth match Team Jaguar emerged winner.
